Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage our advanced cloud infrastructure. This role is critical in shaping our technological future, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency across our distributed systems. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with engineering teams worldwide, leveraging your expertise to build robust and resilient cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing principles and extensive hands-on experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will be responsible for defining cloud architecture standards, leading migration strategies, and ensuring the successful deployment of applications in the cloud. This includes architecting solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that applications are designed with cloud-native principles in mind. A strong grasp of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) is essential. You will also play a key role in security assessments, implementing best practices for data protection and access control in cloud environments. The ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions is paramount. You will guide technical decisions, mentor junior architects and engineers, and stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends. This position demands excellent problem-solving skills, strategic foresight, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for existing applications and services. Define cloud architecture standards and best practices. Lead the deployment of cloud-native applications and services. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Ensure robust security measures are in place for cloud environments. Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs. Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture. Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions. Strong knowledge of networking, security, and data management in cloud environments. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools. Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members. Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
