Our client is a rapidly growing technology firm that is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices to join their fully remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions that empower our software development lifecycle. You will work at the forefront of cloud technology, architecting robust solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and implementing best-in-class DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth deployment, operation, and maintenance of our applications and services. You will lead a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction. Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams will be paramount to success. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of cloud services, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting languages, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities will include: Architecting and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery. Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Leading and mentoring a team of cloud and DevOps engineers. Collaborating with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in the cloud. Developing and enforcing cloud security best practices and compliance standards. Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations. Evaluating and recommending new cloud technologies and tools. Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and providing timely resolutions. Driving the adoption of DevOps culture and practices across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps engineering. Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles in cloud environments. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
