Our client is a highly innovative technology firm seeking a Senior Software Architect specializing in Cloud Native Solutions for a fully remote position. You will be instrumental in designing and overseeing the architecture of scalable, resilient, and high-performance cloud-based applications. This role demands a deep understanding of microservices, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You will guide engineering teams, set technical direction, and ensure the adoption of best practices in cloud architecture and software development. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications and platforms. Lead the technical vision and strategy for cloud adoption and modernization initiatives. Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for microservices, APIs, and distributed systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement architectural designs and ensure adherence to standards. Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies. Drive the adoption of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing. Develop and implement CI/CD strategies for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers. Conduct architectural reviews, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact. Communicate architectural decisions and technical strategies to stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on software architecture and cloud-native technologies. Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Deep expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures. Strong knowledge of container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker). Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js. Excellent understanding of data management strategies, including relational and NoSQL databases. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
