This fully remote position is ideal for an experienced professional eager to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures using best-in-class DevOps practices. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and monitoring/logging tools. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. This role requires a proactive, forward-thinking individual capable of translating complex technical requirements into robust and efficient cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Champion and implement DevOps best practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and serverless architectures. Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance. Collaborate closely with software development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in the cloud. Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in production environments. Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and tools to enhance our capabilities. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Develop comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps, with at least 3 years in a senior architect or lead role. In-depth expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes. Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Excellent understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and system administration. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and database management in cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable working in a remote-first team. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
