Job Title: Jr. Server Administrator / Technical Support Specialist Location: Salt Lake City, UT (on-site) Job-Type: Contract-to-Hire Salary Range: $50K - $55K Referral Fee: $250 Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Server Administrator / Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing technical tickets, resolving basic technical issues, and supporting system operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in IT infrastructure and server/systems administration. Duties & Responsibilities: • Handle incoming support tickets and resolve basic technical issues related to server and network infrastructure (PW resets, creating users, checking back-ups, etc.) • Administer and maintain Active Directory environments (user accounts, groups, permissions, etc.). • Assist with the setup and maintenance of servers, file shares, and printer shares. • Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary. • Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles for internal IT use. • Collaborate with senior administrators and IT support teams to ensure seamless system operations. Required Experience & Skills: • Experience working with Active Directory in a business environment. • Basic understanding of servers, file sharing, and network printer management. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members. Nice to Have Experience: • Exposure to O365, AWS, or Microsoft Azure environments. • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and basic helpdesk procedures. Employment Eligibility: Gravity cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position.
