We’re a growing team of passionate professionals, and we’re looking for a Jr. Systems Administrator who’s eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our mission. Position Summary As a Jr. Systems Administrator, you'll support our Cuick Trac Managed Enclave and assist clients on their CMMC / NIST 800-171 compliance journey. You’ll work closely with a skilled technical team to manage cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot user issues, and ensure the performance and security of our systems. This role requires strong technical aptitude, a proactive mindset, and a client-focused attitude. You’ll represent Beryllium in direct client interactions, so clear communication and professionalism are essential. Key Responsibilities • Administer Azure Entra ID and Intune for device and user configuration • Act as a dispatcher by assigning tickets in ServiceNow to appropriate teams • Answer support calls and assist customers with active tickets • Provide Tier 1 support for system alerts and incidents • Support users with Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) • Collaborate with internal teams, including Security, Compliance, and Development • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive support • Assist with creating and maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles • Participate in service desk operations and contribute to continuous improvement Compliance & Security Responsibilities • Ensure systems align with frameworks such as NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP Moderate • Assist compliance teams in preparing documentation for audits • Support identification of potential risks and assist in mitigation strategies • Follow and help implement ITIL service management best practices Additional Expectations • Stay up to date on Microsoft Azure technologies and industry best practices • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills • Show adaptability and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies • Be a self-starter with a willingness to grow professionally Required Skills & Experience • Foundational experience managing Microsoft Azure environments • Basic understanding of Azure services: virtual machines, networking, storage, and security • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment Preferred Skills & Experience • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104) • Experience with Intune administration • Familiarity with ITIL best practices • Experience using ServiceNow for ticketing and support • Exposure to SIEM tools and security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-171, 800-53, FedRAMP) Benefits We offer a supportive, growth-oriented work environment with a competitive benefits package, including: • Competitive salary • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Medical insurance • Flexibility for occasional night/weekend work (typically pre-planned or emergency situations) At Beryllium, we strive to create an environment where team members are empowered to grow, innovate, and make a meaningful impact.
