Description The D365 Finance Developer designs, develops, and maintains technical components of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution, including customizations, integrations, extensions, and reporting logic. This role ensures system scalability, performance, and alignment with best practices in the Microsoft ecosystem. The Developer collaborates closely with functional consultants, data engineers, and administrators to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Requirements • Design, develop, and maintain customizations in D365 F&O using X++, C#, and Visual Studio. • Develop extensions, plugins, and integrations leveraging the Azure platform (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions). • Implement workflows, batch jobs, and business events to automate key financial processes. • Create and deploy SSRS and Power BI reports integrated with D365 data entities. • Build and manage custom data entities, APIs, and staging logic to support data migrations and third-party systems. • Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of application logic. • Participate in code reviews, solution design sessions, and technical documentation. • Maintain LCS (Lifecycle Services) environments and manage build/deployment pipelines. • Ensure all development complies with Microsoft ALM best practices and security standards. • Provide Tier 3 support for defect resolution and continuous improvement. Qualifications • 5+ years of technical development experience in D365 F&O or AX 2012. • Expertise in X++, C#, and D365 development framework (extensions over overlayering). • Strong understanding of D365 data entities, integration architecture, and OData/REST services. • Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and release automation. • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse integration. • Familiarity with security roles, environment management, and performance optimization. • Microsoft Certified: D365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate preferred.
