Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Developer/Devops Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, database management, cloud deployment, and scripting, with experience across multiple platforms and technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining applications that drive business value and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Java applications, including the creation of JAR files and deployment through automated pipelines. Utilize Git and GitHub for source code management and version control. Build and deploy applications using Azure pipelines across various environments (REPO, DEV, UAT, PROD). Create, configure, and manage Azure VMs, including restarting, key vault integration, permissions, and firewall settings. Design, implement, and optimize Oracle databases, including writing SQL queries, functions, packages, procedures, and triggers. Perform database maintenance and troubleshoot performance issues. Write and maintain Linux shell and bash scripts; schedule tasks using CRON. Develop basic Python scripts for data manipulation, focusing on data frames. Implement and consume web services using GET and POST methods. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve deployment processes and application reliability. Required Skills: Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming Experience with Git/GitHub and pipeline deployments Strong SQL skills, including advanced functions, packages, procedures, and triggers (Oracle) Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, VM creation, and pipeline configuration Understanding of permissions, firewalls, and key vault management in Azure Solid Linux skills including shell scripting, bash, and CRON scheduling Basic Python coding, especially working with data frames Familiarity with web services (RESTful API calls using GET/POST) Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Experience working in Agile development environments Excellent communication and teamwork abilitie
