We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on networking to join our dynamic IT team. This role will primarily support and expand our networking footprint while contributing to broader infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in networking fundamentals, systems administration, and a collaborative mindset to help drive our evolving technology environment forward. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and support networking infrastructure, including switches, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless systems. • Assist with general infrastructure duties including server and systems administration (Windows Server/Active Directory). • Participate in and lead upcoming projects such as: • Firewall and network upgrades • Server migration and datacenter decommissioning • Site-to-site VPN consolidation • General infrastructure cleanup and post-merger decommissioning • Troubleshoot issues across both network and system layers. • Recommend and implement solutions to improve reliability, performance, and scalability of the IT environment. • Operate within a hybrid infrastructure — primarily on-prem with a growing Azure cloud presence (focused on identity and M365). • Take ownership of projects and initiatives with autonomy while working collaboratively within the team. Required Qualifications: • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, DHCP/DNS) • Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) • Windows Server and Active Directory administration • Solid troubleshooting skills across network and systems environments Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with Nutanix or other virtualization platforms • Familiarity with Azure cloud services • Knowledge of Aruba switching and wireless • PowerShell scripting or similar automation skills Environment: We operate in a hybrid Active Directory environment synced with Azure. While most infrastructure remains on-premises, we’re actively expanding our cloud footprint — especially in support of identity services and Microsoft 365.
