Job Summary Serves as a key liaison between the business and third-party network engineering teams, ensuring timely resolution of network-related issues and alignment with enterprise goals. Applies deep technical knowledge in network infrastructure, security, and observability to guide solutions and drive continuous improvement. Demonstrates leadership by coordinating efforts, influencing outcomes, and maintaining high standards across on-prem and Azure environments. Duties and Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture • Own and optimize wireless, routing, firewall and load balancer architectures to support secure, scalable, and agile network operations • Implement resilient network solutions aligned with enterprise security and availability goals in Azure and on prem. • Monitor network health using SNMP, policy management, and observability tools to drive proactive maintenance and rapid response • Manage complex incident and problem resolution efforts related to network and application-layer security • Stay current with security best practices, technologies, and industry trends to inform continuous improvement • Oversee vendor performance and governance to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions • Collaborate across teams to align network security with business and technical priorities • Manage DNS across the enterprise with best practices and technologies. • Drive initiatives to improve scalability, performance, cost-efficiency, and supportability of network systems Key Skills and Abilities • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed, data-driven decisions • Advanced operational expertise with network security policy management tools for efficient administration, governance, and auditing • In-depth knowledge of network monitoring and full-stack observability tools, with a strong focus on application-layer insights • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate • Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing and Switching (CCNA Route Switch) • CompTIA Network Security-related certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CySA+) Qualifications Education Requirements Min/Preferred Education Level Description Minimum High School or GED With equivalent experience Years Of Experience Minimum Years of Experience Maximum Years of Experience Comments 2 5 2+ years of experience leading, managing, and mentoring technical teams in a high-performance environment 5 5+ years of hands-on experience in network management, with expertise in enterprise firewall Required Travel Willingness and ability to travel or come into the office as required by the business.
