Our client is looking for a highly skilled and strategic Information Security Architect to lead security initiatives for their organization in **Orlando, Florida, US**. This hybrid role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures and solutions to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber threats. You will play a critical role in developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and designing layered security defenses across networks, applications, and cloud environments. You will evaluate and recommend security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM solutions, and endpoint security tools. This position requires a deep understanding of threat landscapes, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies. You will work closely with IT teams, development teams, and business units to integrate security into the entire system development lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing secure network architectures, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application security. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCIE Security are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR is essential. You will also be responsible for incident response planning and contributing to the development of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to effectively articulate security risks and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
