Overview Job Summary As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting IT colleagues and partners to develop, migrate, and deploy significant cloud initiatives in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will ensure that stability and functionality requirements from business customers are consistently met. Responsibilities • Facilitate the planning, configuration, and operational management of Molina's cloud infrastructure migration and services. • Configure and support workloads in the cloud, automate cloud infrastructure maintenance, and enhance operational monitoring capabilities. • Provide troubleshooting support and identify root causes for issues escalated by the NOC team. • Develop and maintain tutorials and training resources to aid team knowledge. Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent experience. Required Experience • A minimum of 5 years of IT implementation experience. • At least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure connecting to Azure Public Cloud Provider, with in-depth knowledge of: • Cloud Infrastructure including VNETs, subnets, Network Security Groups, route tables, and ACLs; authentication policies, DNS, cloud storage, and domain management. • Full-stack IT infrastructure knowledge covering applications, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, IP networks, storage networks, cloud platforms, backup networks, and media. • Experience with Azure Stack. • Expertise in integrating Azure with on-prem services such as Active Directory, DNS, Firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring optimal integration patterns and architectures. • Solid background in Cloud Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust, Identity and Access Management, Networking, and Data Security, utilizing the appropriate solutions in these areas. • Experience with API integration, automation, configuration management, monitoring, and ensuring both security and compliance across all cloud services implementations. • Proficient in Agile methodologies, the DevOps model, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes to support CI/CD initiatives. • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards like NIST, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR. • Working knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and SQL Server, including aspects of high availability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, performance considerations, and cost management. • Ability to communicate effectively, providing both detailed information and summaries to management and IT teams. • Experience deploying tools and technologies such as Terraform, YAML, ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps CI/CD, SQL PaaS & Managed Instances, Azure Kubernetes Services, IaaS compute, networks, and storage. • Familiarity with deploying Azure data analytics platforms, such as Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lakes, and Data Factories.
