Job Overview The Senior Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in supporting our IT team and partners as we develop, migrate, and deploy essential cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities • Assist in planning, configuring, and operating Molina's cloud infrastructure migration and services. • Support workloads in the cloud, automate maintenance tasks, and develop new operational monitoring capabilities. • Deliver troubleshooting support and identify root causes for issues escalated by the NOC team. • Create and maintain tutorials and training resources for best practices and operational excellence. Qualifications Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Experience: • 5+ years of IT implementation experience. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure connected to Azure Public Cloud, with a thorough understanding of: • Cloud Infrastructure (VNETs, subnets, Network Security Groups, ACLs, etc.). • Authentication policies, DNS, cloud storage, and domain management. • Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including applications, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, IP networks, storage networks, and their integration with cloud platforms. • Experience with Azure Stack and integrating Azure with on-prem services like AD, DNS, Firewalls, and load balancers. • Strong background in Cloud Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust, IAM, Networking, and Data Security. • Hands-on experience with API integration, automation, configuration management, and ensuring security and compliance in cloud implementations. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes to support CI/CD initiatives. • Experience with industry regulations and frameworks such as NIST, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR. Technical Skills: • Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack and SQL Server database, including high availability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, performance management, and cost considerations. • Ability to communicate both detailed technical information and summaries effectively to management and IT teams. • Experience in deploying tools such as Terraform, YAML, ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps CI/CD, SQL PaaS & Managed Instances, Azure Kubernetes Services, IaaS compute, and storage. • Knowledge of deploying Azure data analytics platforms including Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lakes, and Data Factories. Certifications: • Azure Administrator and other Azure-related certifications are preferred. Molina Healthcare provides a competitive benefits and compensation package.
