Job Summary The Senior Cloud Engineer plays a pivotal role in assisting IT colleagues and partners in the development, migration, and deployment of critical cloud initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This position ensures that stability and functionality requirements from business stakeholders are consistently met. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Contributes to planning, configuring, and managing Molina's cloud infrastructure migration and services. • Supports the configuration and operation of workloads in the cloud, automates infrastructure maintenance, and develops new monitoring capabilities. • Offers troubleshooting support and identifies root causes for issues escalated by the NOC team. • Creates and maintains tutorials and training resources to support user engagement. Job Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent experience. Required Experience • 5+ years of IT implementation experience. • 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure connecting to Azure Public Cloud, with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure (VNETs, subnets, Network Security Group, route tables, ACLs), authentication policies, DNS, cloud storage, and domain management. • Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure including applications, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, IP networks, and storage networks. • Experience with Azure Stack. • Familiarity with integrating Azure with on-prem services like AD, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring proper integration patterns and architectures. • Diverse experience in Cloud Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust, IAM, and data security solutions. • Proficient in API integration, automation, configuration management, and maintaining security and compliance in all cloud service implementations. • Experience with Agile methodologies, the DevOps model, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes to support CI/CD initiatives. • Working experience with industry regulations and standards like NIST, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR. • Required knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and SQL Server database, including aspects such as high availability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, performance considerations, and cost management. • Ability to convey detailed information as well as summaries to management and IT groups effectively. • Experience deploying technologies such as Terraform, YAML, ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps CI/CD, SQL PaaS & Managed Instances, Azure Kubernetes Services, and IaaS solutions. • Familiar with deploying Azure data analytics platforms, including Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lakes, and Data Factories. Preferred License, Certification, Association Azure Administrator and other Azure certifications are preferred. Molina Healthcare offers a competitive benefits and compensation package.
