Our client, a rapidly expanding technology services company, is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise from anywhere in the United States, contributing to cutting-edge projects that redefine digital landscapes. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, architecting robust cloud solutions on major platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and guiding the deployment and migration processes. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive cloud strategies, selecting appropriate cloud services, and designing network topologies, storage solutions, and compute resources. The Cloud Solutions Architect will also define security protocols, implement disaster recovery plans, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations. This role requires deep technical knowledge of cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps principles. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of cloud environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing cloud performance and cost. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for diverse audiences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and design. Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, and storage services. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus. As a fully remote Construction role, you will be instrumental in delivering secure and efficient infrastructure solutions, no matter your physical location.
