Our client is seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Lead Architect, Cloud Infrastructure for a fully remote position. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. You will be instrumental in defining the architectural vision for our cloud environments, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological best practices. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. You will lead a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering an environment of innovation and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: Architecting, developing, and deploying robust cloud infrastructure solutions. Defining and enforcing cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies. Leading the design and implementation of highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster-resilient systems. Overseeing the management of cloud resources, including cost optimization and security posture. Mentoring and guiding cloud engineers, fostering their professional growth. Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Evaluating and recommending new cloud technologies and services. Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture and infrastructure. Ensuring compliance with security regulations and industry standards. Troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues and implementing effective solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture. Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services. Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans. Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
