Sr. DevOps Engineer (Server & Infrastructure Operations) job at Optomi. Orlando, FL. DevOps Engineer (Server & Infrastructure Operations) • Statement of Work/Contract* Hybrid: 1x a week onsite in Orlando, FL Optomi, in partnership with a premier client, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure and server-side operations. This Engineer join a lean, high-impact team responsible for managing complex server environments, optimizing CI/CD processes, and supporting private cloud infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring stability, scalability, and efficient deployments across the entire stack. Must-Have Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or System Administration roles • Expertise in Linux server administration and OS-level troubleshooting • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using: Jenkins • Jenkins (including deploying to databases and web apps) • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Experience with Docker and container management • Ability to troubleshoot server performance (e.g., memory issues, CPU utilization, scaling/load balancing) • Strong knowledge of server architecture and infrastructure-as-code concepts • Experience deploying or managing Snowflake or similar database environments Nice-to-Have Skills • Familiarity with Flask and Django web app environments • Understanding of ETL processes and application-level database support • Experience creating or managing load balancing setups • Exposure to UC4 or queue-based job processing systems • Familiarity with change management processes and access control best practices • Ability to form strong working relationships across tech teams Team/Role Responsibilities • Own and maintain all server-side DevOps operations and tooling • Support CI/CD workflows for both application and database pipelines (including Snowflake) • Troubleshoot and scale infrastructure, add new servers (within our client's private cloud or potentially AWS) • Evaluate and optimize current processes, including load balancing and monitoring • Ensure continuity, redundancy, and scalability for all critical environments
