Position Overview: We are in search of a proactive and skilled Delivery Engineer to join our IT Platform team. In this role, you will drive the successful deployment and integration of IT platform solutions that align with business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Platform Delivery and Deployment: Execute the delivery of IT platform solutions with a smooth transition to production environments. • Manage deployment processes, focusing on configuration, testing, and integration. • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture deployment requirements and address technical needs. • Platform Integration and Automation: Ensure new platform components fit seamlessly within existing infrastructures. • Enhance efficiency through automation of routine deployment tasks. • Employ CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for streamlined processes. • Collaboration with Development and Operations Teams: Work hand-in-hand with development teams to comprehend platform requirements and guarantee effective deployment. • Partner with operations to validate the stability and scalability of deployments. • Act as a liaison among development, operations, and cross-functional teams. • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve challenges in deployment processes. • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and collaborate with teams to implement solutions. • Provide ongoing support to maintain the performance and stability post-deployment. • Documentation and Reporting: Preserve thorough documentation on deployment procedures and configurations. • Create comprehensive reports on platform delivery status, including risk assessments. • Develop knowledge base articles for future reference and team collaboration. • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Assess deployed platforms to ensure they meet service level agreements (SLAs). • Analyze performance metrics and recommend enhancements for reliability. • Implement monitoring tools to track platform health effectively. • Security and Compliance: Adhere to security policies and industry standards throughout the deployment lifecycle. • Collaborate with the security team to uphold best practices during and after deployment. • Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance in all delivered platforms. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience). • 3-5 years of experience in platform engineering or systems administration. • Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform). • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and analytical skills. • Strong communication skills to convey technical knowledge to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: • Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools. • Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and database technologies. • Experience in performance tuning and platform optimization. • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
