Oracle PL/SQL & Azure Synapse Developer (Medicaid/CuramReports Developer) :: Remote/Hybrid, Durham, NC Duration: 6+ months We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft Azure Synapse developer to join our team. You will be responsible for business and system analysis, modeling, design, and developing Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic models. Collaborate closely with internal business and Medicaid teams to develop new reports, enhance existing ones, and address backlog defects. Requirements: • Strong understanding of relational databases, including tables, views, indexes, and more. • 5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL. • Proficient in business intelligence and reporting tools, especially BIRT, and familiar with IBM Curam framework. • Experience building data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools. • Demonstrated experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, including pipelines, SQL pools, and Spark pools. • 1-2 years of experience with Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL on Azure Cloud. • Experience in configuring, designing, developing, and testing dashboards using Power BI. • Ability to lead and mentor other reporting developers in data integration efforts. Must Have Skills: • 5 years of experience in programming and design of large-scale web-based distributed systems. • 5 years of experience using Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools like Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). • 5 years of experience with SQL scripting and relational database modeling. • 5 years of experience with structured system development methodologies. • Ability to develop relationships and partnerships with customers, respond to needs, and exhibit a sense of urgency. • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and follow complex technical procedures. Preferred Skills: • 2 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT. • 2 years of Data Warehouse experience. • 4 years of experience with the Cúram product. • Strong SQL skills.
