We are seeking a highly skilled Curam Developer to design, develop, and maintain Medicaid reporting solutions. The role includes building and optimizing data warehouses, developing reports, and creating analytics solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, Azure Synapse, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale web-based distributed systems, data integration, and mentoring other developers. This is a 6month contract hrybrid role Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts and data warehouses for Medicaid reporting. • Develop and maintain BIRT or other BI reports, leveraging IBM Curam framework data structures. • Build analytics solutions using Azure Synapse, including serverless SQL pools, Synapse pipelines, and Spark pools. • Utilize Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL on Azure Cloud for data processing and analytics. • Configure, design, develop, and test Power BI dashboards for reporting and decision support. • Lead and mentor other reporting developers on ETL design, error handling, and integration best practices. • Troubleshoot defects and implement enhancements based on business backlog. • Follow structured system development methodologies and technical procedures. • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years' experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL scripting, and relational database modeling. • 5+ years' experience with Oracle Utilities, OWB, or ODI. • 5+ years' experience designing large-scale web-based distributed systems. • 5+ years' experience with structured system development methodologies. • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex technical procedures. • Ability to develop relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and respond with urgency. • Demonstrated experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL pools, pipelines, Spark pools). • Experience with Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL on Azure Cloud. • Experience configuring, designing, and testing Power BI dashboards. • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and mentoring skills. Preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years' experience with Business Intelligence tools such as BIRT or Business Objects. • 2+ years' experience with Data Warehousing concepts and solutions. • 4+ years' experience with the IBM Curam product. • Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing queries for large datasets.
