Job: Medicaid Reports Developer(Oracle PL/SQL and Azure Synapse) Location: Durham, NC, USA Client requires the services of a Curam Reports Developer to assist with reports development activities for Medicaid Projects Client is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft Azure Synapse Developer to perform business and system analysis, data modeling, design, development, and maintenance of Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic models. This role involves close collaboration with the business and Medicaid teams to develop new reports, maintain existing reporting code, implement enhancements, and resolve defects from the backlog. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic data models. • Collaborate with business and Medicaid teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality reporting solutions. • Support and maintain existing reporting code, including backlog enhancements and defect fixes. • Design, build, and manage data warehouse solutions to optimize performance and reliability. • Lead and mentor junior developers in data integration and ETL best practices. Required Skills and Experience: • Strong understanding of relational databases including tables, views, indexes, tablespaces, users, and grants. • 5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. • Proven experience in data warehouse design, build, and management. • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool (BIRT), including understanding of IBM Cram framework data structures. • Strong working knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, including pipelines, SQL pools, and Spark pools. • Experience building data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools. • 1 2 years of experience using Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL in Azure Cloud environments. • Experience designing, developing, and testing dashboards using Power BI. • Proven ability to lead and mentor reporting developers in ETL design patterns, error handling, and configuration management.
