PowerBI / PowerApp Engineer (No C2C No H1B) job at Kaygen, Inc.. Plano, TX. Looking for W2 candidate. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. • Develop and integrate solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python. • Create custom applications, dashboards, and automated workflows aligned with business needs. • Design data models and implement data visualization, dashboards, and reporting tools in Power BI. • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and build dashboards that support business strategy. • Connect Power BI to multiple data sources to enable seamless integration. • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and lists. • Create responsive interfaces to enhance user experience in Power Apps and SharePoint. • Document workflows, design process improvements, and train business users on new solutions. Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) • 3–5 years of software experience in designing, programming, debugging, and maintaining applications. • 2–3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience. • 1–2 years of experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals certification. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) • Proven experience in preparing, cleaning, and transforming data using Power Query. • Strong skills in data modeling (relationships, DAX measures, calculated columns). • Expertise in data visualization and dashboard design for storytelling with data. • Experience managing Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, and security configurations. • Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows for RPA). • Integration experience with Power Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, REST/SOAP services. • Strong understanding of data fundamentals (relational, non-relational, SQL, data processing). Recommended Certifications • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate • Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
