Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking an innovative Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead their cloud strategy and implementation in Sacramento, California, US . This role is instrumental in designing, building, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will be responsible for defining cloud architecture best practices, leading cloud migration efforts, and guiding engineering teams in adopting cloud-native solutions. Key responsibilities include assessing business requirements, translating them into technical cloud solutions, optimizing cloud costs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in cloud computing services, containerization technologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code. Responsibilities: Design and implement enterprise-level cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) that meet business and technical requirements. Lead cloud migration strategies and execution for on-premises applications and infrastructure. Develop and enforce cloud architecture best practices, standards, and patterns. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Architect and implement containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering teams. Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies. Ensure cloud environments comply with security policies and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing. 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proven experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm). Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Strong understanding of networking, security, and database technologies within cloud environments. Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and drive projects to completion. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
