My client, a leading hedge fund, is seeking an Azure Solution Engineer – Data & Application Focus to join their team in New York. This individual will be responsible for architecting, building, and optimizing cloud-native solutions across data and application workloads, playing a key role in the firm’s technology transformation and continued innovation. This is an opportunity to work across a wide range of Azure technologies, contribute to enterprise-level projects, and make an immediate impact within a high-performing team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure, with proficiency in both application development (App Services, Functions, AKS, Logic Apps) and data engineering (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, Azure SQL). Expertise in C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, combined with deep knowledge of cloud architecture, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), will be essential. Additional exposure to event-driven architectures (Event Hubs, Service Bus), AI/ML integration (Azure ML, LLMs such as OpenAI), and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation, governance) will be highly advantageous.
