New York, NY | Hybrid (4 days on-site/week) | $160K-$200K + Bonus & Equity A leading financial services firm is seeking a hands-on Azure Solution Engineer at the VP level to join its high-impact technology team. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex challenges across portfolio management, risk, and accounting functions. As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking IT group, you'll design and build secure, scalable cloud-native applications and data solutions using Microsoft Azure. You'll combine deep technical execution with architectural vision, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards and align with business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement Azure-based solutions across data pipelines, analytics, and application services • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using App Services, Functions, AKS, and Logic Apps • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with Data Factory, Databricks, and Stream Analytics • Enforce best practices in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), and governance • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience in both data engineering and application development • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript • Strong knowledge of Azure services: App Services, Functions, AKS, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud architecture frameworks Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert, Developer Associate) • Experience with event-driven architectures (Event Hubs, Service Bus) • Familiarity with AI/ML tools like Azure Machine Learning and LLMs (OpenAI, LLaMa) Additional Info: • This position cannot provide sponsorship • Must be able to work on-site in NYC at least 4 days/week • Competitive compensation package including bonus, equity, and full benefits EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
