Job Description: The SharePoint/web development technical lead will oversee and manage the ongoing Microsoft SharePoint and Web Development projects and tickets assigned. They will provide requirements documentation, technical analyses, and project plans for each project. In addition to managing ongoing projects, this position will monitor and assist with an active ticket queue for internal SharePoint site(s). The technical lead will manage the team workload, provide technical expertise, assist with project development, and mentor three SharePoint developers and one web developer. This position provides regular reports (weekly and monthly) on the status of all projects and tickets. Responsibilities: The SharePoint/web development technical lead position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: • Manage the ongoing updates of the project management plan; • Develop weekly/monthly reports detailing projects, site analytics, and ticket information; • Provide technical support and analysis of documentation and artifacts; • Develop requirements, designs, and development solutions for new projects; and • Assist in project development, best practices, and team development. The SharePoint/web development technical lead reports to IMC's Director of IT Operations and oversees four team members: three SharePoint developers and one web developer. Required Qualifications and Skills: • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in a computer science field with two years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED and six years of relevant experience. • Must have a DoD Secret Clearance or be willing and able to complete a low risk background investigation for the position. • At least five years of experience in technical project management. • At least two years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or above, two years of experience in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery), and one year of experience with a web based server side language (PHP, ASP.NET, JAVA, ColdFusion, or similar) Desired Qualifications and Skills: • Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. • Knowledge of enterprise architecture of both Microsoft and UNIX environments. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to function independently and as part of a geographically-diverse team. • Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks. • Analytical thinker who pays attention to details.
