Senior .NET Developer Azure Migration (Middleware & SQL Server) DCA2285 Location: Wilmington, Delaware Work Arrangement: Onsite (no remote) Contract Length: 2,080 total hours (40 hrs/week; 8 hrs/day ) Overview Provide senior-level application design and technical leadership across new and existing systems. Youll act as a principal designer for critical components, translating business requirements into secure, scalable .NET solutions, and guiding less-experienced engineers. Work spans analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support with a focus on Azure , SQL Server , .NET UI , and .NET Web APIs . Primary Responsibilities • Lead and execute complex systems analysis, design, and development ; serve as a lead/individual contributor on high-impact projects. • Produce and review technical & functional specifications , diagrams, and documentation; maintain clear systems artifacts. • Build and enhance .NET UI and .NET Web APIs ; integrate with SQL Server ; ensure code quality, performance, and security. • Prepare test data, author detailed test plans , execute tests (including automation), and debug issues. • Evaluate interdependencies among applications/platforms; ensure resilient integration patterns (on-prem and Azure ). • Coordinate tasks, mentor junior staff, and manage the technical plan (estimates, timelines, risks). • Recommend technologies, patterns, or vendor solutions; participate in technical evaluations . • Uphold development standards, operational excellence, and internal control/compliance requirements. Must-have Qualifications • Meets Software Engineer III Education/Experience Required (Assoc. + 6 yrs, or 8+ yrs combined experience with 6+ yrs in analysis/app dev). • .NET (C#) with .NET UI and .NET Web APIs experience. • Azure experience (app services, integrations, cloud patterns) and strong SQL Server skills (schema, queries, tuning fundamentals). • Proficiency with PCs and pertinent project management, word processing, and spreadsheet software. • Excellent problem solving, written & verbal communication, organization, and time management. • Proven ability to coordinate across Applications & business units , drive milestones, and mentor others. Preferred Qualifications • Automation testing using Selenium . • Advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications and broader application frameworks. • Demonstrated leadership on complex, multi-workstream initiatives beyond BAU.
