Cloud / DevOps Engineer BCforward is currently seeking an initiative-taking Cloud / DevOps Engineer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC Position Title: Cloud / DevOps Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: Expected 12-Month. Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid) Monday- Friday (5x8) Candidate who is authorized to work independently Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per-diem, etc). Job Description: • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Jenkins or other CI system • Cloud Engineering(cloud computing) experience with Openshift,AWS, Azure or GCP • Design and maintain CI/CD process and tools • Docker experience with Kubernetes container orchestration • Experience with yaml config management tools like Helm/Ansible • Setting up monitoring and alerts • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues • Experience with Agile processes.
