An Energy Management System (EMS) Operation Technology (OT) Administrator is responsible for creating and maintaining EMS networked systems such as virtual machines, network switches, and local firewalls. In addition to equipment deployments, this position will also manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure, utilized by the production support team for fleet diagnostics. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Maintain & Configure Virtual Machines with Windows Server 2022 for future and deployed ESS Systems. • Maintain & Configure WSUS Windows Security Patches centralized server. • Admin for Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure preferred). • Maintain & Configure Windows Domain Controller, Active Directory, and Group policies for new and existing EMS Systems. • Configure Hypervisors with VMWare products such as Vsphere and Vcenter. • Develop and maintain design, solution, and component specifications that are part of the EMS platform, specifically related to Network Design. • Support in the resolution of installation, commissioning, and operational issues. • Review/coordinate design and other technical information from suppliers and contractors. • Expect 10-20% travel, mostly to Florida Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, read and understand network, mechanical and electrical drawings. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent major focused on IT Administration. • Preferred up to 5 years in the industry. • Essential to have: • Created Virtual Machines (VMs) in the past, utilizing VMWare or Hyper-V. • Experience configuring and querying LDAP or equivalent technologies including knowledge in setting up trees and queries for AD Group Authentication. • Worked with VMWare, including Vcenter and ESXI nodes. • Worked on Firewall Configurations such as creating ACLs or policies for controlling inbound/outbound traffic to and from sites. • Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) systems including implementation. • Deep understanding of IT Network Engineering topics such as VLAN, Subnets, gateways, NAT’s, static routes, and Rapid spanning tree protocols (RSTP). • Deployed and regularly use VPN methods for security access to LANs. • Preferred to have: • Experience in the industrial control systems as a network admin role. • Experience working within Azure Dashboard . • Managed Azure Infrastructure in the past. Such as Worker Roles, Azure Web Roles, VM Role, Azure. Storage, Azure Active Directory Licenses, Managed Virtual Machine. • Managed Azure Firewall on Hub. Monitor Incoming and outgoing traffic and manage IPSEC tunnel configuration settings. An understanding of encryption techniques. • Worked with Fortinet, FortiGate product line. • Familiarity with Single single-on solutions (SSO). Designed and implemented single sign-on solutions for hybrid cloud environments, enabling users to access various applications with a single set of credentials. • Familiarity with Integrating Source Code Management tools (SCM), specifically Azure DevOps and SVN. The aim is to establish a robust SCM foundation, ensuring efficient code management and collaboration. • Experience with Microsoft cloud service Azure’s virtual network by ARM templates for Azure Platform IOT Hub, or Azure Data Explorer.
