Systems Administrator - Remote (MST or PST only) job at Vaco. Boston, MA. Title: Systems Administrator - Remote (MST or PST only) Why is this position open: Growth Pay/Salary/Benefits/Perks: Up to $130K Work from Home Policy: Mostly remote (1 day/month onsite). Must be in MST or PST Interview Process: 3 Interviews, streamlined process Key Skills: 5+ years; Azure; server management; PowerShell or Python; endpoint or Intune; MSP experience strongly prefered Responsibilities: • Implement, and maintain M365 management and device management solutions using Azure • Collaborate with security and networking teams • Provide technical guidance and support for on-site infrastructure and server management • Develop monitoring and alerting solutions for system and network performance, security, and availability. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system architecture • Provide technical expertise and support during system outages, incidents, or troubleshooting scenarios. • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed. • Remote with minimal travel (5%), ideally someone close to Phoenix or Dallas Qualifications: • Located in MST or PST time zones • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on identity management, device management, and Azure technology infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of on-site infrastructure, server management, and related technologies. • Demonstrated experience with networking concepts, protocols, and technologies. • Familiarity with information security principles and best practices. • Proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and configuration management. • Relevant professional certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: M365 Admin certification, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or CompTIA Network+, are a plus. • MSP experience strongly prefered
