Senior Level IT Support Position This senior level IT support position requires 10+ years of experience in the field. The salary range is $80,000 - $90,000. This role is based in Montgomery, AL, and does not require travel. Top Skills Backup and recovery experience, familiarity with Active Directory, shared 24x7 coverage of Windows support, experience within a DoD environment or enterprise data center, support for day-to-day technical communication systems, experience with Windows desktops and/or servers, knowledge of network protocols and technologies, exposure to SCCM/WSUS/MECM patch/software endpoint management technologies, knowledge about virtualized environments, familiarity with networking security, desktops/laptops, middleware, client/server software, ability to utilize Office products, server operating systems, virtualization, managing data, applications, websites, APIs, or database supporting a multi-site, multi-domain Windows forest. Job Description Conduct administration of Microsoft Windows workstations and servers, effective communication with users, assist in deploying and supporting software applications, imaging desktops/laptops, web access, and physical or virtual servers in an enterprise environment, establish equipment requirements, monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and scope network, hardware, software or security issues, provide a periodic report of system status, audit, remediate, maintain, and document security artifacts related to DISA Security Requirements, evaluate scan report data from ACAS Tenable.SC or Tenable Nessus Scanners, support provisional installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of server systems hardware, utilize and/or implement technical solutions based on defined mission scope and using approved software tools, test/interact with new software technologies in environment with 3rd party monitoring tools, collaborate with team members on future direction and opportunities for new technology usage, ensure networks receive periodic updates from AFCYBER-released software patches, updates, and upgrades.
