This hybrid role is ideal for someone who combines strong business analysis capabilities with experience in Agile product ownership. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define business and system requirements, manage backlog priorities, and help ensure successful solution delivery within a SAFe or Agile environment. This is an entry-level to mid-level role with an emphasis on process analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and agile delivery, perfect for someone who understands the technical landscape but thrives on solving business problems. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. • Act as the Product Owner on one or more Agile teams, representing stakeholder needs and managing the team backlog • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements for system enhancements and new features • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, team standups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful product delivery • Assist with testing and validation activities, ensuring that deliverables meet defined requirements and business goals • Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and Product Managers • Analyze and improve business processes, helping to streamline operations and enhance the user experience • Provide support to end-users and technical teams for ongoing system functionality, including issue analysis and troubleshooting • Maintain system and project documentation, and support training efforts as needed Supervisory Responsibilities: None Qualifications Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or hybrid role • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) • Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing Agile backlogs • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar • Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to translate between technical and business audiences • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors • Healthcare industry experience is a plus • SAFe or Agile certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe POPM) is a plus but not required Work Environment: • Remote work from home. • Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs. Physical Demands: • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. • The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc. • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. • The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
