The Azure Cloud Developer will design, build, and support event-driven solutions, microservices, and enterprise integrations. The Azure Cloud Developer will use hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services, including Event Grid, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management—while leveraging deep knowledge of databases and microservices architecture. This role will play a critical part in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions that power our enterprise environment. Responsibilities: • Architect & Implement Event-Driven Solutions Design, develop, and maintain event-driven systems leveraging Azure Event Grid, Service Bus, and messaging queues. • Develop Cloud-Native Integrations Build and deploy Azure Functions, Logic Apps, APIs, and microservices to integrate systems, automate workflows, and enable seamless communication across platforms. • Database & Data Pipeline Development Work with SQL Server and other relational databases to design efficient schemas, queries, and data pipelines for reliable data flow. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Define and manage cloud infrastructure using ARM templates (or Bicep) to ensure consistent and automated provisioning of environments. • CI/CD & Automation Implement DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of cloud applications and microservices. • Security & Compliance Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards, with built-in scalability and resilience. • Performance Optimization & Monitoring Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues proactively. • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with developers, architects, DBAs, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions that align with business goals. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) • Four (4) – seven (7) years in cloud development, with three plus (3+) years in Azure-focused roles • Strong expertise with Azure services: Event Grid, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management • Proficiency in microservices architectures and integration patterns • Solid database experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization • Hands-on experience with ARM templates / Bicep and Infrastructure-as-Code practices • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and scalability best practices • Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS) • Exposure to .NET, C#, or Python for cloud-native application development • Knowledge of API design standards (REST, OpenAPI, JSON) • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and documentation abilities • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams • Detail-oriented, with a focus on building secure, reliable, and high-performance systems • Remote/Hybrid – at any point, if required to work from home a minimum internet speed of 75Mbps and reliable cellular signal is required to be able to do this job effectively Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job • Ability to sit for extended periods of time entering data into the computer. • Ability to occasionally lift up to ten pounds. • Ability to concentrate and stay on tasks for extended periods of time.
