Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead the automation and management of our cloud environments using Terraform, with a strong focus on key Azure services. As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation of critical Azure services including AKS (Kubernetes), Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Cosmos DB (MongoDB API), Azure Event Hubs (Kafka), and Azure Cache for Redis. Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure services focusing on: Azure Database for PostgreSQL; Azure Event Hubs for Kafka; Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to build resilient, scalable, and secure cloud environments Troubleshoot and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability Stay current with Azure service updates, Terraform releases, and cloud industry trends to continuously improve our infrastructure Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on Azure cloud infrastructure Expertise in Terraform for IaC, including writing complex modules and managing state Azure Database for PostgreSQL; Azure Event Hubs (Kafka); Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, and scaling Experience automating cloud service provisioning and lifecycle management Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating Terraform with build tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
