DS Technologies Inc is looking for BA and Tester with SQL Server Experience role for one of our premier clients. Job Title: BA and Tester with SQL Server Experience Location: Onsite at Austin, TX Industry: Healthcare IT / Public Sector Job Category: Business Analysis / Quality Assurance Overview Seeking a BA/Tester with strong SQL Server and Medicaid experience to support a Texas state healthcare IT project. The role includes business analysis, testing, and collaboration in a SAFe Agile environment, focusing on Medicaid application enhancements and compliance with healthcare standards. Position Contract – 6 Months (with potential extension) Responsibilities Business Analysis: • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document Medicaid business requirements • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, data maps, and traceability matrices • Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming and PI planning • Optimize Medicaid business processes in alignment with federal/state regulations Testing & Quality Assurance • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT test cases • Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data • Ensure data integrity and compliance with Medicaid business rules • Log and track defects using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools Medicaid Domain Expertise • Apply deep Medicaid knowledge across claims, eligibility, provider, and compliance • Ensure deliverables comply with HIPAA and healthcare IT standards Agile Collaboration • Actively engage in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Communicate clearly across development, QA, and business teams • Promote continuous improvement in analysis and testing practices Requirement Qualifications • 5 years in Business Analyst/QA roles in healthcare IT • 3 years of experience with Medicaid projects • Proficiency in SQL Server and writing complex queries • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum or SAFe frameworks • Familiarity with test and defect management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications • MMIS project experience • Experience in provider enrollment, prior authorization, claims, analytics • Understanding of LTC and Medicaid regulations • CBAP, ISTQB, SAFe, or Scrum certifications • Knowledge of automated testing tools and Medicaid data integrity techniques Additional Information • Onsite role in Austin, TX (local candidates strongly preferred) • Interviews will include functional and SQL technical assessments • Background check required by end client Candidate Details • Must have Medicaid and SQL Server experience • Available to work onsite in Austin, TX • Proven track record of collaboration in Agile public sector environments • Ready to support testing, analysis, and compliance for state Medicaid systems If you are interested, Kindly share your resume to Sahithya@dstechnologiesinc.com Thanks DS Technologies - Team DS Technologies Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
