We are seeking a VP Azure Solution Engineer with deep expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, and application development to design and deliver mission-critical solutions in Microsoft Azure. This is a senior, hands-on role at the intersection of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and cloud-native applications. You will be entrusted to design and optimize solutions that directly power portfolio management, risk, and finance functions in a high-performance, fast-moving environment. What you’ll lead • Solution Architecture – Design secure, scalable, cost-optimized systems across Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and API/microservices patterns, applying Azure Well-Architected Framework principles. • Data Platforms – Build robust end-to-end pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake Storage, and Stream Analytics, modeling data for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and low-latency workloads. • Engineering Excellence – Drive standards across CI/CD, DevOps automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) while embedding RBAC, network security, identity, and governance best practices. • Hands-on Delivery – Write production-grade code in C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript to deliver solutions optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability. • Stakeholder Impact – Partner with front-office, risk, and finance teams to translate business requirements into enterprise-grade solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. What sets you apart • 5+ years designing and delivering Azure-based enterprise solutions at scale. • Depth in microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures (Event Hubs, Service Bus). • Proven expertise with Databricks, Synapse, and advanced data modeling, with strong understanding of observability (logging, metrics, tracing). • Strong coding skills in C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and a track record of cloud migrations, modernization projects, and enterprise architecture. • Bonus points for Azure Architect / Developer certifications and exposure to LLMs, ML, and AI/ML integration in Azure environments.
