Position: IT Administrator Location: HYBRID in San Antonio, TX 78215 (1 day/week onsite) Duration: 12-month contract (extensions/permanent possible) Pay Rate: $30-35/hour (depending on experience) Must Haves: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 3+ years of experience installing, deploying and packaging Microsoft applications with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) • 3+ years of experience with Power Apps, preferably Power BI for documentation • 3+ years of experience migrating Windows systems at an enterprise level • Extensive experience in IT systems support and software asset management • Proficiency in M365 Suite and Microsoft-based infrastructure Plusses: • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA) • Proficiency in using Intune Day-to-Day: This candidate will be supporting the migration of Windows 10 to Windows 11, along with the packaging of Microsoft applications. Over half of this role will be packaging of Microsoft applications to be properly stored in the application library for one-click installation process for internal employees. You will design, test, and maintain software and systems that support IT asset management and infrastructure. You’ll configure and troubleshoot Microsoft-based environments and enterprise applications, ensuring smooth operations across platforms. Daily responsibilities include providing Tier 3 technical support and assisting Tier 2 technicians with complex migration and packaging issues. You’ll also manage deployments of software releases, operating systems, and security patches, while maintaining compliance with documented procedures. Documentation will be completed in Power BI. You’ll analyze and report on update compliance, hardware/software utilization, and other performance metrics. You’ll also participate in planning and implementing projects, documenting work, and preparing change records for CAB review. IG Consultants: While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular company/end client on W2. • Pay Day: You will be paid out each Friday and one week in arrears. This means you will receive payment for this week’s hours next Friday. • Holidays/Time Off: While a consultant through Insight Global, the hours you work are they hours you will be paid.
