Systems Support Analyst Hybrid, Sparks MD – 2-3 days in the office Full time, permanent Candidates must have either Commercial P&C Insurance or Financial Services Industry experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Looking for a Junior/Mid-level candidate- System Administration/ Testing, Fix bugs, Request, Updates, SQL, SOP Development, Documentation of updates, workflow of requests, project support, help with implementation, coding language/how to read language- Salesforce and Origami would be great to have The Systems Support Analyst supports the reliability and efficiency of IT systems critical to insurance operations. This role focuses on configuring and customizing business platforms to align with operational needs across departments such as underwriting, finance, and compliance, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of internal platforms. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with an understanding of business processes, particularly in a regulated insurance environment. Key Responsibilities • System Administration: Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of systems, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and claims platforms (e.g. Origami). To include development, testing, and implementation of requests/improvements. • User Support: Provide technical support to resolve system issues or user requests. • Data Management: Support data integrity by performing regular audits/reports, updates, and clean-ups in systems. • Process Improvement: Solicit feedback from teams, including surveys, documentation, and recommend process improvements to optimize the use of systems, by way of meetings or presentations. • Documentation: Assist in the management of user guides, training materials, SOPs, and system documentation/manuals. • Project Support: Work on system-related projects, such as implementing new tools or features, under the guidance of senior team members. • Security and Compliance: Follow security protocols and assist in ensuring systems comply with company policies and industry standards. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field • 1–3 years of experience supporting business software applications, preferably in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries • Familiarity with common insurance platforms, databases, or low-code systems is a plus (e.g., policy admin systems, Salesforce, DocuSign, or workflow tools) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Solid understanding of SQL or other data query languages. • Experience with DevOps or similar tools used for automation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Skills • Experience with Origami Risk, HubSpot, or other CRM systems. • Understanding of HTML and/or XML language • Salesforce Certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, or other. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or system integration tools (e.g., Zapier, APIs). • Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies. • Basic knowledge of IT security and compliance best practices.
