Mandatory Skills: Purview and Copilot Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 (M365) Administrator with specialized expertise in Microsoft Purview to oversee and manage our organization's Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, compliance, and governance of our data using the tools provided by Microsoft Purview, along with managing the broader M365 environment. Key Responsibilities: Microsoft 365 Administration: • Manage the day-to-day operations and administration of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). • Ensure proper licensing, user management and configuration across the M365 suite. • Monitor system health, performance, and troubleshooting issues across the M365 environment. Microsoft Purview: • Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions (formerly Microsoft Information Protection, Compliance Center, etc.) to enhance data governance and compliance. • Develop and maintain data loss prevention (DLP) policies, information protection policies, and data classification labels. • Use Microsoft Purview to identify, protect, and govern sensitive data across M365 services. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) using Purview tools. • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments leveraging Purview insights to enhance data protection and compliance. Security & Compliance: • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure the M365 environment is secure and compliant. • Assist in the implementation of data retention policies, eDiscovery, and audit trails. • Support the management of secure access, identity management (Azure AD), and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Skills: • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.). • Expertise in Microsoft Purview and its capabilities, including data loss prevention, information governance, eDiscovery, etc. • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.). • Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and administrative tasks. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex M365 issues. • Strong communication skills for collaboration across IT and business teams.
