Position Name : Devops Engineer with strong Java Location: Charlotte, NC Position Type: Fulltime Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and scale applications. Monitor application performance and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment strategies for Java + Spring Boot applications. Assist in implementing and enforcing DevSecOps best practices across environments. Troubleshoot issues in production environments and ensure high availability and reliability. Contribute to internal tooling and automation to improve developer experience. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering. Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Good understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
