We are in search of an innovative and goal-oriented Cybersecurity Director of AI/ML & Data Products to spearhead a dynamic team aimed at revolutionizing cybersecurity through data-centric advancements. This position involves leading the strategy, creation, and implementation of sophisticated analytics, AI/ML functionalities, and data offerings that support intelligent, proactive, and scalable cybersecurity measures across the organization. As a pivotal leader in the Strategy, Architecture, and AI/ML & Data team, you will lead efforts in data sourcing, normalization, and visualization from various cybersecurity technologies, facilitating actionable insights and automation that fortify McKesson’s security framework. Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Strategy • Guide and encourage a diverse team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers. • Develop and implement the strategic path for AI/ML and data product projects within Cybersecurity. • Work alongside senior cybersecurity, IT, and business executives to ensure data-driven projects meet enterprise risk and security objectives. • Data & AI/ML Innovation • Manage the design, creation, and execution of AI/ML models for scenarios such as threat detection and predictive analytics. • Lead the establishment of scalable data pipelines and infrastructures for processing cybersecurity data. • Advocate for sophisticated data visualization techniques to produce clear, actionable dashboards and summaries. • Product Ownership • Oversee the lifecycle of cybersecurity data products—from concept to delivery and ongoing enhancement. • Guarantee that data products satisfy the requirements of various stakeholders, including SOC analysts and risk managers. • Collaboration & Governance • Collaborate with organizational data teams to ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and compliance protocols. • Promote a culture of innovation, experimental learning, and continual skill development within the group. Minimum Qualifications: • Degree or comparable experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional expertise and 4+ years in management roles. Critical Experience/Skills: • Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML, including at least 4 years in leadership. • Proven success in managing teams responsible for: • Cybersecurity data ingestion and normalization • AI/ML model development for security purposes • Data product and platform development and maintenance • Data visualization and narrative creation • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity areas (e.g., threat detection, incident management). • Strong familiarity with modern data and ML technologies (e.g., Spark, Python, TensorFlow, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI/Tableau). • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant discipline. Preferred Experience/Skills: • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance). • Understanding of cloud-native security and data structures (e.g., AWS, Azure). • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials. Although specific pay ranges are provided, compensation will comply with any necessary regulations.
