Are you a visionary architect with a passion for data and AI? Join us as we seek an experienced Azure Data and AI Solutions Architect to lead the creation of scalable, intelligent data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. This pivotal role will champion the integration of data engineering, analytics, and AI innovation to drive enterprise-wide transformation and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Engineering • Design and implement comprehensive data pipelines leveraging Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Real-Time Intelligence. • Optimize semantic models and data marts to facilitate Power BI and AI integration. • Unify structured and unstructured data sources within OneLake using Delta format and shortcuts. • Lead the integration of transactional and analytical data through Fabric SQL DB. AI Enablement & Agentic Architecture • Develop and deploy conversational data agents utilizing Fabric Copilot and Azure AI Foundry. • Create generative AI solutions by embedding data agents in custom applications and Microsoft Teams. • Collaborate with business units to identify AI use cases and transform them into scalable implementations. Governance & Platform Strategy • Develop data governance, lineage, and compliance frameworks using Microsoft Purview and OneLake's governance features. • Establish continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for Fabric workloads and automate deployment processes. • Direct tenant configuration, capacity planning, and workspace strategy to align with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework. Cross-Functional Leadership • Work closely with enterprise architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align architecture with strategic objectives. • Mentor and guide data engineers and analysts on Fabric best practices, PySpark, and AI integration techniques. • Contribute to the overarching data strategy, focusing on ERP modernization, analytics platform consolidation, and AI transformation. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering roles, including at least 2 years with Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms. • Proficient in PySpark, SQL, and T-SQL, with experience in notebooks and real-time analytics. • In-depth knowledge of lakehouse architecture, medallion design, and semantic modeling strategies. • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, and Azure AI Services. • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. Preferred Certifications: • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600). • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203). • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305). The position's salary range is 144,900.00 - 269,100.00 in local currency.
