Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Server/Network Administrator to maintain, support, and optimize our organization’s IT infrastructure. This role blends traditional system and network administration with hands-on help desk support, ensuring reliable performance and user satisfaction. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Server & Network Administration (Primary) • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. • Manage physical and virtual servers (Hyper-V), storage systems, and backup solutions. • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure uptime and security. • Manage firewalls, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems (Ubiquiti, Fortigate or equivalent). • Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures. Help Desk Support (Secondary) • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users via ticketing system, phone, and in person. • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and software. • Maintain user accounts and permissions (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.) • Assist with onboarding/offboarding procedures and hardware provisioning. Additional Responsibilities • Support patch management, endpoint protection, and routine maintenance schedules. • Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and implementations. • Collaborate with vendors for hardware, software, and service support. • Provide backup support to the IT team as needed. Preferred Qualifications: • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience: 3–5 years in a systems or network admin role, with at least 1–2 years of help desk support. • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE) • Technical Skills: • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 • Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 & Azure administration • Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls) • Backup and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, AWS) • Virtualization platforms (Hyper-V) • Bonus: Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is highly preferred.
