IT Support Analyst/Systems Administrator job at Kaimetrix, L.L.C.. Orlando, FL. Kaimetrix is seeking a skilled IT Support Analyst / Systems Administrator to provide comprehensive systems administration, end-user technical support, and IT security services for the Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). The IT Support Analyst / Systems Administrator will ensure the secure, stable, and efficient operation of PEO STRI’s IT systems and infrastructure. This position requires a balanced blend of server administration, user support, and proactive security maintenance to meet mission requirements and Department of Defense (DoD) compliance standards. Position Highlights: This position is ideal for an IT professional with systems administration experience who enjoys balancing technical infrastructure support, direct user assistance, and proactive security compliance work. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining mission-critical systems for PEO STRI while ensuring they remain secure and fully operational. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support requests from internal users, delivering prompt troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, network, and other technical issues via phone, email, or in person. • Perform day-to-day administration of Windows Server environments, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Active Directory (AD), AD Sites and Services, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, MDT, and network shares supporting multiple virtual environments. • Implement and maintain DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure system configurations comply with FISMA and Risk Management Framework (RMF) audit standards. • Conduct routine vulnerability management activities, including weekly ACAS scans, audit log reviews, and patch management, to mitigate risks and maintain system security and integrity. • Coordinate with Information Assurance (IA) teams to address identified security gaps and support remediation efforts. • Assist with installation, configuration, and updates of software and operating systems for both servers and end-user devices, including productivity applications and specialized mission systems. • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, support activities, and security compliance efforts to facilitate audits and knowledge sharing within the IT team. • Develop and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system administration, user support, and security processes. Participate in training and knowledge transfer to strengthen the team’s technical capabilities. Experience, Education & Training: • Demonstrated experience administering Windows Server environments in a DoD or federal setting, including virtualization technologies and enterprise system management. • Proven track record providing end-user technical support for desktop operating systems and common productivity applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite). • Deep knowledge of DoD STIGs, FISMA, RMF, ACAS vulnerability scanning, and general cybersecurity best practices preferred. • Familiarity with network protocols, basic networking troubleshooting, and configuration of network services. • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users and stakeholders at all levels. • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Security+ (IAT-II) certification (or IAT-II equivalent) required. • Secret Clearance Required About Kaimetrix: Kaimetrix, L.L.C. is an equal opportunity employer.
