Discovery/SACM Architect Charlotte, NC We are hiring a Discovery/SACM Architect to lead solution design and provide technical recommendations for enterprise ServiceNow implementations in the SACM and Discovery space. This role demands deep expertise in ServiceNow Discovery—especially cloud discovery—and a strong understanding of CSDM/CMDB frameworks. The ideal candidate will drive pattern development, troubleshoot discovery issues, and ensure accurate asset and configuration data across hybrid environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions and support incident resolution and platform optimization. Responsibilities: • Design and implement SACM and Discovery solutions aligned with business requirements • Provide technical recommendations for ServiceNow architecture and integrations • Lead ServiceNow Discovery Pattern Development and customization • Research and resolve issues with discovery patterns and incidents • Maintain CMDB health and enforce CSDM standards across modules • Support cloud discovery across GCP, Azure, and hybrid environments • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure complete asset visibility • Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support materials • Apply OS-level expertise (Windows/Linux) to enhance discovery accuracy • Use Regular Expressions to refine pattern logic and data parsing Requirements • Proven experience in ServiceNow Discovery and SACM implementations • Strong understanding of CSDM and CMDB architecture • Hands-on experience with cloud discovery (GCP, Azure, AWS preferred) • Proficiency in ServiceNow Discovery Pattern Development • Solid background in Windows and Linux operating systems • Experience troubleshooting discovery issues and working incident queues • Familiarity with Regular Expressions and data normalization techniques • Active ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with enterprise stakeholders Key Skills • ServiceNow Discovery, • SACM, • CMDB, • CSDM, • Cloud Discovery, • Discovery Pattern Development, • Windows/Linux OS, • Regular Expressions, • GCP, • Azure, • AWS, • Incident Management, • Technical Documentation, • CSA Certification, • CAD Certification
