Microsoft Cloud Architect & Power Platform Engineer – Hybrid (Lexington, KY) Location: Lexington, KY (Onsite 3 days/week, remote allowed remainder of week) Type: Contract | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Duration: 6 Months Start Date: September 22, 2025 Openings: 1 Job Overview Seeking an expert Microsoft Cloud Architect & Power Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy modern enterprise solutions within the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem. This hybrid role combines strategic cloud architecture with specialized, hands-on engineering across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Azure services. Key Responsibilities • Design scalable, secure, and resilient Microsoft Azure and Power Platform architectures and components • Develop, configure, and extend Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven), Power Automate flows, and Dataverse data models • Integrate Power Platform with APIs, Azure services, SQL, SharePoint, and legacy systems • Deliver actionable business intelligence with Power BI dashboards and reports • Build cloud-native integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and custom connectors • Manage ALM with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tools • Implement Power Platform governance, security, and compliance standards • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions • Mentor junior engineers and drive low-code/no-code adoption • Lead full SDLC delivery from discovery to implementation and support Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 6+ years in cloud architecture, enterprise application development, or systems integration • 3+ years hands-on with Microsoft Power Platform • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure AD, Azure DevOps) • Strong foundation in Microsoft security, identity, and compliance best practices Preferred Certifications • PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect • AZ-305: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert • PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate • AZ-204: Azure Developer Associate • MS-600: Building Apps and Solutions with Microsoft 365 Core Services
