Job Summary We are looking for a talented Azure Active Directory Security Specialist to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will play an essential part in deploying secure Azure AD solutions with a focus on identity management, authentication, authorization, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-On (SSO). Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage Azure Active Directory solutions that maintain secure and efficient authentication and authorization processes aligned with industry best practices. • Lead the onboarding of applications, including app registration and enterprise application setup, ensuring effective role-based access management (RBAC). • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) to strengthen security measures. • Configure and troubleshoot authentication protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML to ensure robust secure authentication and authorization. • Develop and manage conditional access policies to regulate access based on specific criteria, locations, and device compliance. • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address and resolve IAM-related issues, ensuring security, compliance, and scalability. • Adhere to security best practices for Azure products, services, and solutions. • Utilize Azure Sentinel for monitoring, alert management, and creating automation scripts for effective incident response. • Provide production support and promptly resolve security incidents. • Establish and maintain identity governance frameworks, including privileged identity management (PIM) for elevated access controls. • Stay updated on Azure developments, security threats, and best practices to reinforce security posture. • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams, showcasing an understanding of tools and requirements. Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience in implementing security solutions on Azure with emphasis on authentication/authorization, MFA, and SSO. • In-depth knowledge of Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, and security protocols including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID. • Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell and Azure CLI. • Thorough understanding of cloud security principles. • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is advantageous. • Experience with Azure Sentinel for monitoring, alerting, and automation. • Excellent troubleshooting abilities related to IAM challenges. • Ability to thrive in an evolving environment and adapt to dynamic security challenges. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams. • Commitment to fostering a secure, compliant, and scalable IAM solution. • Overall, 4+ years of experience in Azure AD Security Engineering. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position ranges from $114,500 to $134,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position also qualifies for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and in accordance with Cognizant's applicable plans.
