Title: Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect Location: 100% Remote Duration: Contract-to-Hire Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US. W2/Direct-Employment only. Key Points: • This position will require very strong skills in designing and building out infrastructure in Azure. • Very strong skills in IaC (Terraform) is a requirement for this role. Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, and will be proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), source code management with Git, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ruby. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. • Deploy and maintain Azure Infrastructure using IaC tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu) • Manage IaC source code and workflows using Git, ensuring best practices for version control and collaboration. • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship team members. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. • Strong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. • Proficiency in source code management with Git. • Strong familiarity with any scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ruby. • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices • Strong understanding of networking concepts, specifically networking within a cloud environment like Microsoft Azure. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) for Azure • Expert understanding of Terraform • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. • Knowledge of serverless application deployment and management on Azure. • Experience deploying and managing infrastructure supporting Artificial Intelligence applications Our benefits package includes: • Comprehensive medical benefits • Competitive pay, 401(k) • Retirement plan • …and much more!
