Position: Workday Functional Consultant Location: Fremont, CA***Day 1 Onsite*** Duration: 1 Years Workday Functional Consultant (Core & Compensation) Experience: 10 12 years Skills: Core HCM, Compensation Job Description Delivers advanced configuration and optimization of Workday Core HCM and Compensation modules. Acts as a subject matter expert across HR and Finance functions. Responsibilities • Configure Core HCM and Compensation modules including business processes and eligibility rules. • Lead workshops and requirement gathering sessions. • Support annual compensation cycles and data audits. Mentoring & Leadership • Coached junior consultants on compensation configuration, resulting in improved delivery quality and reduced rework. • Led a cross-functional team during a compensation cycle redesign for a Fortune 500 client. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Worked with HR teams to align compensation structures with talent strategies. • Collaborated with Finance for budget planning and payroll alignment. Mentoring Impact Metrics • Improved configuration accuracy by 35% through peer reviews. • Reduced rework cycles by 25% across 2 project phases.
