Job Description. • Job Title: Power BI & Data Analytics • Visa:USC,GC,H4EAD Only • Location: Texas • Rate: $60 on C2C We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather requirements, design and implement data solutions, and develop reports and dashboards that enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, database design, and experience with various BI tools. Responsibilities • Mastery in data analytics and creating complex reports. • Experience using Power BI to create dashboards and interactive visual reports. • The ability to create, test, and deploy Power BI Scripts using Python, M, and DAX, as well as execute efficient deep analysis. • Previous experience working with Texas state agencies. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications. • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker. • Utilize SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis to support decision-making processes. • Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses. • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex datasets. • Participate in Agile project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of BI solutions. • Maintain documentation of data models, processes, and workflows using tools like Visio. • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the integrity of the data architecture and database design. • Utilize programming languages such as Python and R for advanced analytics and statistical modeling. • Support the SDLC process by participating in testing phases and ensuring quality assurance of BI solutions. Qualifications • Prior experience with data-related tasks. • Previous experience with Source Control, Git/BitBucket. • Previous experience with SAS and its datasets (sas7bdat). • Previous experience with Jira. • Previous experience with BI tools like SAP and Tableau. • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management. • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools like Talend or similar technologies. • Familiarity with database systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or others. • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell). • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. • Experience in project management methodologies (Agile preferred) related to BI projects. • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
